First Nations Crowdfunding Event

Igniting impact through stories and collective giving.

A special giving event featuring three high-potential First Nations enterprises working and delivering social impact in regional Australia.

Meet the First Nations Enterprises

Collaboration for impact

Developed and delivered in partnership with Esparq Ventures and The Funding Network's (TFN) First Nations Advisory Council, this event will create an opportunity for Australians (including business, community and philanthropic leaders) to connect, learn and collectively support First Nations enterprises. In addition to receiving financial support, the featured organisations will have the opportunity to expand their networks, collaborate with their peers and become part of TFN's ongoing capacity-building program.

This initiative exemplifies the potential of philanthropy's role in supporting early-stage First Nations social enterprises. By providing untied, angel-style investment for First Nations organisations, we aim to reduce the traditional burdens placed on these leaders, who often face hurdles others do not.

Our approach has been and will continue to be informed by listening and learning from First Nations peoples and, as a non-Indigenous organisation, holding ourself to the highest level of accountability.

TFN will seek to embed the 5 Rs of Reconciliation into all aspects of this program: Respect, Relevance, Reciprocity, Responsibility and Relationships.
